Speeding Tickets Can Put Your License at Risk

Under Missouri's point system, your license will be suspended for a year if you acquire 8 or more points in 18 months. If you get 12 points in 12 months, your driver's license will be revoked.

Each speeding ticket adds 2 or 3 points. If you are a commercial driver, these points can be used to disqualify you under 302.700 - 302.780, RSMo and are assessed against your base driving privilege.

Fight Missouri Traffic and Speeding Tickets: Defense Starts at Only $55

Have you received a ticket the St. Louis/St. Charles area? Speeding tickets and moving violations can put your driver's license at risk. Even one traffic or speeding ticket can cause your insurance rates to skyrocket.

In Missouri, traffic violations cause points to be put on your license. The more tickets you get, the more points you accumulate on your driver's license. If you get too many points on your license, you could lose your driving privileges.

Even if you are from another state, points you get in Missouri may be added to your license in your home state. Your insurance company will be notified, and your rates will probably go up.

Most people pay traffic and speeding tickets because they think they have no real choice. You do have an option: as your lawyer, I can challenge your speeding ticket or citation for a moving violation for a fee as low as $55 in most cases. You may not even have to appear in court.
